WCD is on site at the new Walmart going up in Wasco, Ca. We are installing 4800 SF of abuse resistant drywall (ARD) at the sales floor area’s to 4′ high. This drywall has a higher core density that is reinforced by glass fibers and bound by a stronger recycled finish paper to avoid surface damage in high traffic areas like stores, corridors, schools, hospitals, etc. ARD can be finished with standard joint compound using the same techniques as other common drywall products. WCD has been installing abuse resistant drywall since 1997 to help avoid costly drywall repairs in high traffic areas.
